11 Months!

I can not believe that Mr. Quincy is 11 months today! Almost 1 year... he's moving from baby to toddler! He is so amazing.... Sorry about my absence from blogging. The little guy is keeping us so busy. He is such a joy!

He has 4 teeth and he's working on one more... it should be here any day now. He enjoys eating spaghetti, grilled cheese sandwiches, cheerios, yogurt, fruit, spinach, and toast. He's really on a toast kick.

And the biggest thing is.... He's walking!!!! Not just taking steps... its a full out walk. He is all over the place. Living in a 3 story townhome, of course we have gates up. The first thing he does when he walks in the living room is to see if we have the gate locked or not. He's just waiting on us to slip up and have it open, lol.

Here are a few recent pictures.... and I promise that Quad is going to post a video of him walking soon!

The 3 Henry's... Opa was awarded Father of the Year by the American Diabetes Association. Congratulations Opa. Sorry the pic is blurry!

Mommy and Dada at the dinner...blurry pic again!

The awards dinner ran a little bit too long for Quincy... he fell asleep in Aunt Erin's arms.... so sweet!

Playing with his little cousin Kayla... this was Opa's chair from kindergarten... Quincy loves it already!

Love you all,
Enjoy!

8 months!

Boy does time fly! Quincy is 8 months old and he has been super busy. He crawls now! So fast. At first it was a scoot, but now, it's an all out crawl... on all fours. Sometimes it's hard for Mommy to keep up with him. He even stands alone (for about 3 seconds). Once he realizes what he's doing he quickly grabs on to the first thing he sees.

Quincy eats solid foods, mostly fruits and veggies (he hasn't tried meat yet). He also likes baby snacks. His favorite word to say is DADADADA (he loves his DaDa!)

Quincy's grandparents came to visit him in February. That's always a fun time. Then we went to Greensboro on the last weekend in February for Aunt Pearl's 90th birthday party. Quincy got to meet a lot of his cousins for the first time.

On March 13, we celebrated Quincy's Baptism. It was a wonderful ceremony. Quincy tried to put his hand in the bowl of water before it was time. Needless to say, he was really into it. Lots of family came for the ceremony and we really had a fun weekend.

We're excited for Spring. We were fooled by some really beautiful sunny weather earlier in the month, but it's been raining for the past few days. During the sunny days, Quincy liked going for walks outside and he even got on the swing set.

Here are a couple of recent pictures of the little fella.
He sure is a joy!
With Love,
Keisha

6 months!

Happy New Year! Wow, time is really flying by! Quincy is now 6 months old! Quincy had a white Christmas for his first Christmas! How special... it snowed on Christmas day, around 6 inches in Greensboro! I've got a lot of catching up to do here! Let's go week by week....so Quincy got tons of toys and clothes for Christmas! Thanks to everyone who made his first Christmas so special! His toys have definitely taken over the house, lol! He really liked tearing the wrapping paper off of the gifts. Of course he liked the gifts too! Here are a couple of pics from Christmas Day!

Loved tearing wrapping paper!

Lots of toys!

While in Greensboro, Quincy got to visit with lots of friends! Of course he saw Patrick (his best friend)...

Then we all got to meet Karynne (Ryan's new baby girl)...

and Aiden...Nicole's baby!

Quincy got to visit with Will and Olivia... Meredith's kids!

He also hung out with his buddies Ramsey, Elle and Kaylee on New Years Eve!

Here's a of pic of how packed the car was coming back to VA...full of all the gifts that Quincy received from family and friends....he is a blessed little boy!

So the exciting thing was that while in Greensboro, Quincy started scooting backwards....by the time he got back to Virginia, he was scooting forward. The following week he started saying DA DA DA DA DA...of course Quad has the largest smile on his face when he says this!

Last weekend, Quincy got to attend his first UNC basketball game! We went down to Charlottesville to the UNC vs. UVA game! It was a great game and Carolina won! Here are a few pics:

Quincy, Mommy, and Daddy!

Game ready...all the way down to the socks!

Then on Wednesday, we went to the Georgetown vs. Pitt game. Our team (Georgetown) lost this time, but Quincy was surely the cutest fan in the Verizon Center!

Have a Happy MLK weekend!

5 months!

So, it's almost Christmas and I've got a lot of catching up to do on the blog. It is truly my favorite time of year, but also the busiest. Quincy also had his first virus. It was so sad! He had a little fever and a really bad stuffy nose, which of course he hates for me to clean! He's recovering now and feels much better.

Right now, one of Quincy's favorite things to do is play with tags. If you give him a toy and it has a tag on it, all he pays attention to is the tag, lol. He also loves playing peek-a-boo!

Let's catch up on some pics....Here are some pictures of when Quincy met Patrick (Ashley's baby). Patrick is 6 weeks older than Quincy and probably 1/2 foot taller, lol. If you know Ashley and me, then it all makes sense.

And Thanksgiving.... We were in Greensboro of course....Mommy and Daddy ran a 5k that morning and then we had a wonderful family dinner that afternoon. Here are a couple of pics from that weekend...

18 weeks!

Hello,

I'm 18 weeks today! I had to go to the doctor earlier this week and I got 4 shots! I weighed 12lbs and was 23 in. long.

My mom hadn't updated the blog in a while...she's been really busy with craft shows. She has done 3 and has 1 more to go. She also goes to work 2 days a week and her friend keeps me. The first day, Mommy cried when she dropped me off, but she doesn't do that anymore. Daddy has been taking classes to become a referee. He really likes it and will be reffing games really soon.

I dressed up as a pumpkin for Halloween!

Thanks for stopping by.

Love you all,
Quincy

14 weeks..Mommy has her camera back!

So, I lost my camera charger and finally ordered a new one via Amazon! I just got it this week. No worries...I do have pictures of Quincy's recent visit to Greensboro, however, they are on GC's camera....I'll get them up soon!

At 12 weeks, he began rolling over from his back to his stomach. He was asleep laying down and Quad and I left the room...when I came back he had turned to his stomach...I asked Quad, "Did you turn him over on his stomach?" Quad said, "No!" So, then we had to watch him because we wanted to see him turn..finally, we saw him. Then a couple of days later, he began turning from his stomach back over to his back. He's quick too! He loves sleeping on his stomach! Every time we lay him down, he immediately flips over. I know...I know...back to sleep, tummy to play.

So, here's a quick pic of him at 14 weeks sitting in his highchair.

Enjoy!

Check out the hair!

11 Weeks!

Quincy is 11 weeks today and for the first time, he actually grabbed his keys, held on to them, and started playing with them. He was holding on tight too, he has a strong grip! Of course, we captured a picture of it...
Enjoy!
